THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Women in Cinema Collective (WCC) came forward supporting actress Honey Rose. WCC has informed their support by sharing Honey Rose's Facebook post and sharing the hashtag ‘Avalkoppam’. The police had yesterday registered a case against businessman Boby Chemmanur on the complaint filed by Honey Rose.

'I have not worn any dress prohibited by Indian law. I am not responsible for each of you creating your own legal codes according to your own thoughts.

As an actress, going to inaugural functions is part of my job. I have no objection to constructive or creative criticism and making jokes about my dress or me, I have no complaints. But I believe that there should be a reasonable restriction on such remarks and gestures.

Therefore, if there are indecent or obscene references in the criticisms against me, I will come to you after studying all the protections given to women according to the Indian Code of Civil Procedure. Once again, I, Honey Rose, declare war on you, the vulgar and obscene language pundits on social media, for all women going through the same situation,’ the note in the post shared by WCC reads.
