DUBAI: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has unveiled its latest Test rankings, following the thrilling conclusion of the India-Australia and South Africa-Pakistan series, which also decided the World Test Championship finalists. Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah achieved the highest rating of his career, securing the top spot in bowling with 908 points. Australian captain Pat Cummins claimed the second spot with 841 points, while South African pacer Kagiso Rabada ranked third.

In batting, England's Joe Root retained the top position. India's Yashasvi Jaiswal is ranked fourth, while Rishabh Pant occupies the ninth spot. Shubman Gill dropped three places to 23rd, and Virat Kohli slipped three places to 27th, as both had lacklustre performances during the Australian tour. South Africa's Temba Bavuma and Kyle Verreynne improved their rankings.

Following R Ashwin's retirement, India's presence in the top 10 Test all-rounders has been reduced to a solitary figure - Ravindra Jadeja, who leads the pack with 400 points. South Africa's Marco Jansen climbed two spots to second with 294 points, while Bangladesh's Mehidy Hasan secured third spot. India's Axar Patel, who was previously ranked 10th, dropped to 12th in the all-rounders' rankings.
