Sex with student; beauty advisor turned teacher arrested

CALIFORNIA: Police have arrested a high school teacher who had sex with a student. Dulce Flores (28), a Spanish teacher at California Riverbank High School, was arrested. The Spanish language teacher had sex with a 17-year-old student in 2023. The teacher was taken into custody by police at her residence on Tuesday.

Riverbank police were notified based on information received by school officials. School officials said they are cooperating with the investigation and that Flores has been placed on leave.

Flores has been a Spanish teacher at the school since 2016. She previously worked as a beauty advisor for a cosmetics company. Riverbank School has been embroiled in such controversies before. This is the second case from the school in two years. In 2023, basketball coach Logan Nabors was arrested for having sex with a 16-year-old student.
