Attempt to attack Union External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar; Khalistan extremists tear Indian flag
LONDON: There was an attempt to attack Union External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar in London. Members of a Khalistan extremist organization tried to attack Jaishankar's vehicle. The incident happened last evening. India will inform Britan their protests over the incident. A video of the incident has surfaced.

An unidentified person can be seen in the video coming in front of the minister's vehicle and tearing the Indian flag. The incident occurred when Jaishankar was returning from an event at Chatham House in London. Khalistan supporters had raised protest slogans outside the venue. Jaishankar arrived in London on March 4 for a five-day official visit. The visit is aimed at strengthening diplomatic relations between the two countries.
