'Smoke bomb explosion ruins perfect kiss'; Bride suffers burn injuries during wedding photoshoot

BENGALURU: A wedding bride suffered injuries in a freak accident during a photoshoot event held in Bengaluru. Vicky and Pia, who are of Indian origin and settled in Canada, got married in Bengaluru. The accident occurred during a photo shoot after the wedding. A smoke bomb used for the celebration exploded resulting in burn injuries for the bride. Part of her hair also got charred in the incident.

The groom picked up the bride as part of the photoshoot but something happened out of the script; The smoke bomb exploded. The woman sought treatment at a hospital after suffering burns. The couple themselves shared the video of the incident on social media to raise awareness among the public.

"The goal was to set off smoke bombs in the background for a beautiful shot. But it ended up awry.” the woman wrote on social media.

Many comforted the couple while some criticized them. Few advised others to avoid photoshoots involving such dangerous objects during sacred ceremonies like weddings.
