Taslima’s WhatsApp chat with actor found deleted; special questionnaire for accused in hybrid ganja case

ALAPPUZHA: The excise is all set to collect more details from the accused in the hybrid ganja smuggling case. The excise had filed an application in the Alappuzha District Court to get the three accused into custody. The application is scheduled to be considered today and a special questionnaire has been prepared for the accused.


Actor Shine Tom Chacko had admitted to the police that he has connection with Taslima Sultana of Kannur, the first accused in the case. The excise will investigate whether there were any transactions between the two. Three teams will question the three accused. 25 questions are related to the film industry only. K Firoz (26) and Taslima's husband Sultan Akbar Ali (43) are the second and third accused in the case.


Actor Sreenath Bhasi had also said in his anticipatory bail plea filed in the high court that Taslima had sent messages. A WhatsApp chat with an actor on Taslima's phone has been found deleted. The help of forensic has been sought to recover it. Once the role of the actors is clear, they will be summoned for interrogation. The statements of 25 people have already been recorded in the case. The questioning will be based on the statements and digital evidence.
