'Response to most brutal attack'; India will retaliate strongly against terrorists, says Foreign Secretary
NEW DELHI: Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri said that India's retaliation through Operation Sindoor is a clear message to Pakistan. Pakistan supports terrorism and their role in the Pahalgam attack is clear, he said while addressing the press meet in New Delhi.
India’s attack targeted Pakistan terrorist camps. India's retaliation was in response to Pakistani cross-border attacks. Pakistan is mum on terrorism. An attempt is being made to disrupt peace in Kashmir. India has responded to the most brutal attack. India will retaliate strongly against terrorists, he said.
'It has been identified that TRF is behind the attack. Pakistan-based terrorist organizations LeT and Jaish are behind TRF. Pakistan's role in the attack is clear. It is an attempt to disrupt peace in Kashmir. The Indian people have identified Pakistan's move to create religious tension.'
‘Even after 14 days of the Pahalgam attack, Pakistan has not taken any action against the terrorists on its soil. This is why India decided to retaliate. India targeted terrorist camps. The attack was carried out only on terrorist camps to prevent terrorists from crossing the border and coming to India,’ clarified Misri.
