Khamenei warns Trump that there will be ‘irreparable consequences’ if US joins Israel in war
TEHRAN: Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has warned that there will be irreparable consequences if the United States joins Israel in military action. Khamenei criticized the United States for joining Israel because Israel is weak. In a special address to the nation, Khamenei said that Iran will never surrender. Khamenei's statement was in response to US President Donald Trump's ultimatum that Iran surrender unconditionally.
"Iran will not yield to any kind of threat or order. Any military intervention by the United States to help Israel would cause irreparable harm to the Americans. Those who know Iran’s history know that Iranians do not answer well to the language of threat," Khamenei added. “We know exactly where the so-called ‘Supreme Leader’ is hiding. He is an easy target, but is safe there – We are not going to take him out (kill!), at least not for now,” Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform warning that Iran should surrender unconditionally.
Meanwhile, reports have emerged that Khamenei has delivered a crucial message to the Emir of Qatar in the context of the conflict with Israel. The letter was delivered to the Emir by the Iranian ambassador. The Qatari Foreign Ministry confirmed that it had received the letter. However, the content of the letter was not disclosed.
Iran claimed that it had destroyed the Tel Aviv headquarters of the Israeli spy agency Mossad in a missile attack. It released pictures and videos of this. Israel has not confirmed this. Israel has also expanded its attack to western Iran. There were also large explosions in the capital Tehran.
