Malayali couple killed in road accident in Maharashtra

MUMBAI: A tragic road accident claimed the lives of a Malayali couple from Chengannur who had been living in Neral, located in Maharashtra’s Raigad district. The victims were identified as Vinod Pillai (65) and his wife Sushama.

The accident occurred around 11:30 a.m. yesterday when the couple’s scooter collided with a car. Originally residents of Thane, the family had moved to Neral about eight years ago. The couple is survived by their son, Anirudh.
