LEEDS: Indian Test vice-captain Rishabh Pant had a brilliant first test in Headingley despite the young team stumbling in front of a victory. Rishabh scored two centuries in two innings. Zimbabwe's Andy Flower is the only wicketkeeper to score two centuries in a single Test. England's Ben Duckett also improved his career-best position in the ICC Men's Test Batting Rankings, according to the ICC's official website.

Pant scored 134 runs in the first innings and 118 runs in the second innings in the Leeds Test. This is the first time in history that an Indian player has hit the most sixes in a single Test: three in the second innings and six in the first innings.

Pant’s first century was in the 2018 Test series against England at The Oval. Ironically, India lost the test by 119 runs.
