'Did Diya give birth? even Ashwin's mother wasn't informed'; fans flood social media with wishes

Social media has been abuzz with excitement over actress Diya Krishna’s wedding and subsequent family events. Now, fans are eagerly awaiting the arrival of her first child. A recent YouTube video shared by the family, showing Diya packing her hospital bag, garnered significant attention. However, confusion arose when a few YouTube channels falsely reported that Diya had already given birth. Following these reports, the family received a flurry of congratulatory calls.

Actor Krishnakumar, Diya’s father, responded to the rumours with humour. In a recent video, he jokingly said, “Looks like Diya delivered early — maybe even without our knowledge.” He added that friends, including some from overseas, had called to extend their congratulations.

Diya added that even her mother-in-law had called to confirm the news. “Everyone was calling after seeing those online reports,” Diya said. “Ashwin’s mother even asked why she wasn’t informed. Ashwin told her, ‘She’s right here next to me, driving the car. The baby has not arrived yet.’”

Krishnakumar and his wife Sindhu clarified that Diya still has one more medical check-up pending, and only after that will the expected delivery date be confirmed. Fans have continued to flood the video’s comment section with well-wishes and questions about Diya’s health and the baby’s arrival.
