14-year-old stripped and stabbed to death, body dumped in canal; murder carried out by eight people including minors

NEW DELHI: Six people have been arrested in connection with the incident where the body of a 14-year-old boy was found in a canal. The boy, who was living in Jeevan Park in Siraspur, was abducted and murdered by a gang of eight people. After the murder, the body was stripped and dumped in the canal. The murder was carried out as an act of revenge.

According to the police, a total of eight people, including four minors, were involved in the murder. Of these, six have been caught. The police nabbed the accused based on an investigation that focused on CCTV footage. After stabbing the boy multiple times and causing serious injuries, the group dumped him into the nearby canal. The body was found near the Delhi Jal Board’s water treatment plant. . Police sources said that the accused carried out the murder after several days of planning. On the night of June 29, the accused stopped the boy near Veer Chowk Bazaar and abducted him in front of his friends. They then took him to the place near the canal, gagged him with a cloth, removed his clothes, and each took turns stabbing him before dumping the body into the canal.

The police have also arrested the remaining three minors involved. A motorcycle used in the crime was also seized. Two of the accused fled to Haridwar, and a special team has been sent to Uttarakhand to locate and apprehend them, according to officials.
