'Aishwarya and my mother...'; Abhishek Bachchan drops silence over divorce rumours

A lot of ink was spilt over the rumoured feud between Abhishek Bachchan and his wife Aishwarya Rai. Many tabloids speculated about an imminent divorce on the cards for the couple. However, no serious tremors of the social media hullabaloo affected ‘Jalsa’, the official residence of Amitabh Bachchan and his family.

In a very recent interview with an online portal, Abhishek dropped silence over the matter, and it turned into news all in an instant. Despite being bombarded with rumours about his personal life for aeons, Abhishek had hitherto maintained his dignity, choosing not to speak about those matters. However, it seems like those times are over.

"Every day, I go back from work to a happy family. Be it my mother or my wife, both make sure not to entertain outside matters to come inside our house. I was born into a film family and have a clear discernment of what to take seriously and what not, “ said Abhishek.

Earlier, Amitabh Bachchan responded to the same matter in a more scathing way calling everything as speculations and unverified ‘truths’.

Rumours of Abhishek Bachchan and his wife Aishwarya's marriage life going downhill started surfacing after the couple arrived differently for the extravagant wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant last year.
