She has passed all tests conducted by BJP; Malayalis' favourite actress to become Union Minister soon?

Director Alleppey Ashraf is known for revealing lesser-known stories about celebrities on his YouTube channel. Ashraf has now shared some interesting details about actress Meena.

"Recently, news broke across Tamil and Telugu social media platforms claiming that Meena had joined the BJP and was likely to be inducted as a Union Minister in the upcoming cabinet reshuffle. Meena's mother was a staunch Congress supporter. She had worked alongside Moopanar, a senior Congress leader in Tamil Nadu at that time. The family is originally Malayali, from Kannur, but had migrated to Tamil Nadu several years ago.

Current Union Minister L Murugan is a family friend of Meena. His wife, children and other family members are all ardent fans of Meena. They had invited Meena to Delhi to attend the Pongal celebrations, which were graced by the Prime Minister. Meena attended the event with choreographer Kala Master and also met the Vice President. Soon after, Tamil media started circulating reports of Meena joining the BJP. The BJP had previously tried a similar experiment with Hindi actress Kangana, but it didn't yield the desired results. Others like Khushbu also joined the party, but didn't make significant political impact.

Meena is said to be more intelligent than all of them. She passed all the 'tests' the BJP had conducted. That’s why rumours began to spread that she might be named as a Minister of State in the next reshuffle. However, Meena hasn't made any public statement either supporting or denying these claims. One reason people found the rumours believable is because of Meena’s mother, who was deeply involved in politics. Since her mother had a strong hold on her decisions, such a political shift cannot be entirely ruled out.

Now, the BJP is in search of a strong celebrity face in Tamil Nadu to aid their campaigns. If Meena agrees, she has the charisma to draw massive crowds. However, from what I've gathered after speaking to people close to her, it appears that she hasn't made any firm decision yet. However, when it comes to celebrity political entries in Tamil Nadu, nothing can ever be predicted," Ashraf said.
