'Marriage news leaked through WhatsApp group, never expected'; Filmmaker Aisha Sultana responds

After a few days of ambiguity and silence, filmmaker Aisha Sultana talked about her marriage for the first time. Aisha said that the information about her marriage to Deputy Collector Harshit Saini was leaked through a WhatsApp group. The filmmaker was not prepared to reveal the news to the public and wanted more time, when surprisingly the news spread surprisingly.

“Harshit Saini was the Deputy Collector of the Andrott and Agatti in Lakshadweep. Harshit is also keen about development works in Lakshadweep, and it felt good to take a like-minded person along in life. The marriage registration happened long ago. After talking with both families, we plan to conduct a reception soon.

Harshit always used to talk about his plans for Lakshadweep. It then occurred to me that his thoughts were similar to mine, and I instantly got interested in him. Soon, it developed into courtship and then marriage. Interestingly, Harshit skipped midway from an official function to reach the office and sign the marriage papers. After this, he returned to the function. This is the story behind our marriage.”
