NEW DELHI: A Malayali woman has claimed that she is the daughter of former Tamil Nadu Chief Ministers M.G. Ramachandran (MGR) and Jayalalithaa. The woman, Sunitha, is a native of Thrissur, Kerala. She has also alleged that Jayalalithaa was murdered and has requested an investigation by writing a complaint to the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court. A media outlet first reported the news.

In addition to the Chief Justice, Sunitha has also submitted complaints to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and President Droupadi Murmu, among others.

"I witnessed my mother being killed. I'm just an ordinary person. What could I do? Those who claimed to protect her were the ones who killed her. I was scared. My mother had already conducted a DNA test and acknowledged me. It was supposed to be revealed to the public. On September 22, as she had said, I went and I found her dead," Sunitha said.

"I want justice for my mother. I used to visit and talk to her. She provided me with financial support, which was sent through her staff. I received support until August 2024. It was meant to help me survive. Though originally from Thrissur, I am currently living elsewhere," she added.
