Actress Priyanka Anoop has said that she is not receiving any calls from the Malayalam film industry. In an interview with a media outlet, she shared her disappointment, saying, “There aren’t many opportunities in Malayalam. I don’t know why this is happening.” She added that she still earns through television serials and brand collaborations. “If something is meant to happen, it will. Right now, I’m waiting for chances in other languages. My biggest dream is to act in a film with Vijay,” she said.

Priyanka also spoke about actor and politician Suresh Gopi’s recent behaviour. She said she does not support the way he handles things now. “People voted for him thinking he would be the same person they once admired. But the way he is acting now is upsetting. If you want to say something to the media, say it peacefully. Why spread anger or hate? There's nothing wrong with entering politics, but you should do something good for the people. Let’s not earn the public’s hatred — they’re the ones who should vote for us in the future,” she said.

The actress went on to praise KB Ganesh Kumar, saying he stood by her during a tough time. “Ganeshettan has always had a good relationship with our family. When I had a problem, he just said one thing — ‘Don’t do anything to that girl, she’s innocent.’ When the court gave its judgement, the first person I called was Ganeshettan. I told him, just like you said, I’ve been proven innocent. No matter what anyone says, I’ll always be grateful for that. Politically too, he’s done many good things,” Priyanka said.
