The second song from Tamil superstar Rajinikanth's film 'Coolie', 'Monica', recently created a big stir. Pooja Hegde and Soubin Shahir appear in Monica, which is a dance number. In this, Pooja Hegde danced well, but it was Soubin who took all the applause. Soubin shows off the chart energy in the song. Fans even said that this time, Soubin has surpassed Pooja, who performs well in dance with any superstar.

Now, the words of the film's director Lokesh Kanagaraj are circulating on social media. Lokesh says that Soubin was called to dance in the song Monica after he saw Soubin's dance in the film 'Bheeshma Parvam'. This was clarified in an interview given to 'Galatta Tamil'.

'Soubin is the one who makes the song even more charming because this is something very new. The hero and heroine dancing is not a new thing. But what if the villain who is not meant to dance in any film knows how to dance? I felt this while watching the film 'Bheeshma Parvam'. If Soubin can dance so well, why shouldn't I ask him to dance?" Lokesh Kanagaraj clarified.

Pooja's remuneration for appearing in the song 'Monika' is Rs 5 crore. The lyrics are by Vishnu Edavan and the song is sung by Sublahshini and Anirudh Ravichander. The rap of the song, composed by Anirudh, is sung by Asal Kolaar. Coolie, which marks the first time that Rajinikanth and Lokesh Kanagaraj are coming together, will be released on August 14.
