The trailer of the much-awaited Vijay Deverakonda movie ‘Kingdom’ was released yesterday. The hype had already started after the trailer received an ecstatic response from the Telugu audience and others alike. However, Malayalam audiences were in for a treat when they noticed the identity of the antagonist in the movie — Venkitesh V P.

Venkitesh, still in his nascent stage as an actor, is known for his performance alongside Mammotty in the movie ‘Priest’. Venky, as he is commonly known, is also an achor and even runs a highly popular mobile food cart (Suda Suda Idli) in Thiruvananthapuram near the revered Sree Padmanabha Swami Temple.

In a recent post, lead actor Vijay Deverakonda shared a story on his Instagram page introducing Venkitesh to his fans.

“It is just his fourth film, but when I shared scenes with him, I felt like I was in his world. Deadly actor, ferocious eyes and energy. Sweet soul. He will make a strong mark,” wrote Vijay on his Instagram story.

Kingdom, the upcoming Indian Telugu-language drama film, is directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri. The film is produced by Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under the banners of Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas. The film stars Vijay Deverakonda and Bhagyashri Borse in lead roles. Venkitesh is playing the role of antagonist in the movie.
