Aged man dies of electrocution in Kasargod

KASARGOD: An aged man died after coming in contact with a snapped electric wire. The dead is Kunjundan Nair of Vayalamkuzhali in Kasaragod. The accident happened this morning when he went out to the fields to graze his cow. The cow also died of electrocution.

Three died in the state yesterday after electrocuted by fallen electric wires. Leelamani (87)of Kooruvila house in Poovanpara, Alamcode, died after being electrocuted by a service wire in front of her house in Attingal, C Marimuthu (75) of Palayam, Kodumba, Olassery, died after being electrocuted by an electric wire passing through his plantation and Abdul Vadood (17) of Malappuram died after being electrocuted by a wire while swimming in a stream.
