‘She was used by him for years’; Casting couch allegations against Vijay Sethupathi

CHENNAI: A woman came to the fore with casting couch allegations against Kollywood super actor Vijay Sethupathi. The woman came forward with the allegation through the X account of Ramya Mohan. The woman in the post alleged that Vijay Sethupathi is involved in perpetuating a toxic culture within the film industry, mentioned issues related to drugs, manipulation, casting couch practices and exploitation of vulnerable individuals.

Her post said Kollywood’s drug and casting couch culture isn’t a joke. A girl I know now a known face in media was dragged into a world she never signed up for. She’s now in rehab center. Drugs, manipulation and transactional exploitation disguised as industry norm. Mf@VijaySethuOffl has offered Rs 2 lakh for caravan favors, 50k for drives and acts like saint on social media. She was used by his mf for years. This isn’t one story. It’s man and the media worship these men like they are saints. The drug-sex nexus is real. Not a joke.

Her post had gone viral on social media. Many came forward respond to it. Ramya deleted the post after it turned sensational. Ramya said in another post that she did not know her post would get so much attention and that she was deleting the post out of concern for her privacy and wellbeing. Meantime, Vijay Sethupathi has not yet responded to the allegations.
