THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Former employees of Diya Krishna’s firm have surrendered in the financial fraud case. The employees identified as Vineetha and Radha Kumari surrendered at the crime branch office. Their bail pleas were earlier rejected by the high court. Diya Krishna is the daughter of actor and BJP leader Krishna Kumar.

The case is that the employees embezzled Rs 69 lakh from Diya’s firm ‘Oh by Ozy’. Apart from Vineetha and Radha Kumari, there is one more employee named Divya involved in the fraud. The fraud was committed by manipulating the QR code. Diya had earlier released a video of the women confessing to the crime. After that, Diya filed a complaint alleging that the employees of the firm had embezzled the money. The complaint is that three employees who worked in the firm embezzled Rs 69 lakh over a period of 10 months. The three later filed a police complaint against Krishna Kumar and Diya, alleging that they kidnapped them. They filed a complaint with the Museum police alleging that Krishna Kumar and Diya kidnapped them, threatened and extorted money by promising to solve the financial fraud. This complaint was later found to be false.

CCTV footage had earlier emerged proving that the employees were not kidnapped. The police informed the court that they had not received any evidence other than the allegation that the complainants were kidnapped.
