Employees of Diya Krishna’s firm confesses to crime, bought gold with money

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The three former employees of Diya Krishna’s firm ‘Oh by Ozy’ have confessed to the crime committed. The employees admitted to committing the fraud while taking them to the shop and collecting evidence. A fraud of Rs 40 lakhs has been found. The accused used their QR code instead of Diya's QR code to steal the money and then shared it among them. The accused said that they bought gold with the money.

The crime branch informed that the scooter and gold purchased with the fraudulent money, will be confiscated. Diya Krishna is daughter of actor and BJP leader Krishna Kumar. After the case was registered, two of the employees who went into hiding surrendered at the crime branch office on August 1st. Vineetha and Radha Kumari surrendered. The investigation against another accused, Divya, is ongoing. The police had informed the court the other day that there is evidence for the employees swindling money from Diya's shop. This is also clear in the bank records of the three employees.
