Locked me in room, seized my phone, actor Aamir Khan’s brother levels serious allegations against him
Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan's brother and actor Faisal Khan has made a shocking allegation of being locked up in his house for a year. Faisal claimed that he was locked up and forced to take medication for mental illness. He revealed this in an interview with Pinkvilla.
'My family claimed that I had schizophrenia and that I was dangerous. They locked me in Aamir's house for a year and forced me to take medicine,’ Faisal said. He said the entire family was against him.
'I thought someone would help me and that my father would come, but no one turned up. My father has married twice. I used to stay away from such things. I kept my phones away. I was locked in a room with guards. Aamir agreed after a year when I insisted on moving to another house,' Faisal said.
I was admitted in J J Hospital for 20 days of mental treatment. Faisal claimed that he approached several Bollywood stars, including Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan, for help, but no one helped him. Faisal said that the doctors have now reported that his mental health has improved.
The brothers had a strained relationship. Faisal had filed a case against his family. However, Faisal later said that he could not go further against his brother and was ready to forgive Aamir Khan. Faisal had attended Aamir's daughter Ira Khan’s wedding.
Faisal started his career as a child artiste. He had worked with Aamir Khan in films Madhosh (1994) and Mela (2000). Faisal has also ventured into directing. He has also worked in films Faactory (2021) and the Kannada film Oppanda (2022).
