NRI businessman kidnapped in Malappuram; police initiate investigation

MALAPPURAM: A complaint has been filed alleging that an NRI businessman has been kidnapped in Malappuram. Shameer, a native of Pandikkad in Malappuram, was abducted last night around 8 pm near the GLP School in Pandikkad. CCTV footage of the incident has come out. Financial transactions are suspected to be the motive behind the kidnapping. The police have registered a case and initiated an investigation into the matter.
