Raid following tip-off; CUSAT students arrested with MDMA in Kochi

KOCHI: Two engineering students were arrested with MDMA in Kochi on Wednesday. Civil engineering students Athul and Alvin Ribi of CUSAT were arrested. 10 grams of MDMA were seized from them. The students were caught in a raid conducted following a tip-off.
The DANSAF and the anti-drug squad conducted a lightning inspection at the house used by the students. It is understood that the MDMA was brought from Bengaluru. The police also received information that the duo were selling the banned substances among students in college.
