Major twist in death of biker Adarsh: Death not caused by collision with wild boar but with Toyota Etios car

KULATHUPUZHA: The Chitara police have found that biker Adarsh, who died in the accident that occurred on the Madathara Kulathupuzha route of the hilly highway the other day, was not killed by the collision with a wild boar. At the time of the incident, a car passing by hit the wild boar and the car that lost control hit the bike. The police have taken Tamil Nadu Kadayannur native Abdul Khader, who was driving the car with Tamil Nadu registration, into custody. The Toyota Etios car that caused the accident was also found from the Toyota workshop in the Inchakkal area of Thiruvananthapuram.

It was the Toyota Etios car that was passing by at that time that hit the wild boar. The car lost control after running over the boar and hit the bike. Abdul Khader, a native of Kadayannur, Tamil Nadu, who was driving the car with Tamil Nadu registration, was taken into custody by the police. The Toyota Etios car that caused the accident was found at a Toyota workshop in Enchakkal area of Thiruvananthapuram.

The car driver and the car were taken into custody following a check conducted by Chitara SHO Ajikumar and CPOs Sanal, Visakh and Santosh based on several CCTV camera footage. The accused confessed to the crime during interrogation. He was produced in the Kadakkal court. He was granted bail since it was an unintentional homicide.
