KASARGOD: Congress leader Sandeep Varier said BJP state vice president C Krishna Kumar violated law that prohibits the disclosure of the identity of the victim in sexual harassment cases. Sandeep's response was about the harassment complaint against Krishna Kumar. Sandeep also said that a criminal case should be filed against Krishna Kumar for violating law.

'Krishna Kumar revealed the details with the intention of threat. The police should file a criminal case. The case was initially closed because Krishna Kumar’s father-in law told not to ruin the life of his daughter Mini, wife of Krishna Kumar. The civil case is still pending in the high court. The court has not acquitted him in the sexual harassment case.

The Prime Minister's Office had ordered an investigation against Krishna Kumar on April 22, 2025. The investigation in this regard is still being conducted in the SP's office. Shobha Surendran and M T Ramesh are aware of the woman’s complaint. Krishna Kumar is Kerala Brij Bhushan. What was the incident that happened in Vennakkara and why did Krishna Kumar's wife come to a house in Vennakkara?' asked Sandeep Warrier.

The complaint against C Krishna Kumar came after sexual allegations were levelled against Rahul Mamkootathil. The complaint was filed by a native of Palakkad with BJP state president Rajeev Chandrasekhar. Krishna Kumar responded that this was a fake complaint and that a property dispute was behind the complaint. The same complaint was first filed in 2014. Krishna Kumar clarified that the court had rejected these allegations then.
