Stalking and harassing women: Several complaints against Rahul Mamkootathil; possibility of legal action 

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Legal action is being considered against MLA Rahul Mamkootathil. Case will be filed for harassing women. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan had announced in a press conference that legal action will be taken against Rahul. Although sexual allegations have been made against Rahul, no complaint has been filed so far.

The case will be registered after consulting with senior police officials. It is not yet clear in which police station the case against Rahul will be registered. The Chief Minister's office had received several complaints regarding Rahul. Multiple women had raised such complaints in Kochi and Thiruvananthapuram. Senior police officials are seeking legal advice on this matter.
