'Different views about life, wife living separately'; Munshi Ranjith talks about life

Munshi Ranjith appeared in Bigg Boss Season 7 and was the first to be eliminated. The actor opened up about his personal life for the first time while interacting with a media outlet the other day.

Munshi Ranjith:

“I don't know whether I fell in love at any stage of my life. I got married and became a father to two children. At this point, I was reeling in debt. Son's name is Bhavajith, daughter's name is Bhavyajith. Wife's name is Rashmi. As of now, we are not together. My daughter is studying in class 9.

We were together as a family for a long time, but decided to live separately after both of us had different views about what was right and wrong. She went with her choice of life, and I decided to pursue my life in the way I liked.

My father was a soldier. He used to give me new clothes and money to pay school fees. Beyond that, it was totally blank with no happiness. I never had any childhood to even think about. When I turned 19, I started doing jobs and detached from my home. Along with that, I continued my studies. I have done many odd jobs, like working at a radio servicing centre, in textiles, and selling cassettes on the sidewalk. My father had by then banned me from entering the house.

Although I was devastated at that time, those struggles helped me find discipline in life. When looking back at my life, I would never have achieved any success if not for my father’s stern decision to ban me from the house. He is my hero.”
