Massive earthquake of 5.9 magnitude shakes Assam, tremors felt in Bhutan, North Bengal

NEW DELHI: A major earthquake struck Assam on Sunday. The quake measured 5.9 on the Richter scale. The epicentre was near Dhekiajuli in Guwahati, officials said.
The earthquake struck at 4.41 pm today. Tremors were also felt in Bhutan and North Bengal. There were no reports of casualties or damage.
