Slander campaign against KJ Shine had its origin centred around Paravur; won't block Rahul Mamkootathil if he comes to Palakkad, says M V Govindan
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: CPM state secretary MV Govindan said that the slander campaign against KJ Shine had its origin centred around Paravur. He said that he did not think that Opposition Leader VD Satheesan would stoop this low when he said a few days ago that he would drop a huge bomb soon. Govindan alleged that attempts are being made to defame women and that the Congress cyber wing attempted to cast a shadow of doubt on four MLAs. He also said that the party would face Congress's allegations legally.
Govindan said that the CPM will not block Rahul Mamkootathil if he arrives in Palakkad. "Rahul Mamkootathil continuing like this will only do good for the CPM. Rahul has turned into a symbol of cultural decay. The Congress is showing its opposition towards the Ayyappa Summit only on the outside. A prominent Congress leader told a minister that he would attend the Ayyappa Summit if anyone invited him at the last moment. There is no appeasement in the Ayyappa Summit. It is a program being organised by the Devaswom Board," he said.
