Kerala to receive heavy rainfall from September 23

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Rains are expected to become active again in the state within the next two days. From September 23, heavy rainfall is likely. Some places are likely to receive light showers today. Three low-pressure systems are expected to form in the Bay of Bengal within the next 10 days. The first will develop over the northern Bay of Bengal on the 22nd. The second is likely to form on the 25th, and it may strengthen into a deep depression before making landfall along the Odisha coast, bringing more rain. The third system is expected to move from the South China Sea into the Bay of Bengal around September 30.
