No sex even after three months of marriage; wife alleges husband is impotent, demands crores in compensation

BENGALURU: A woman has alleged that her husband was impotent and there was no consummation even after three months of marriage. The incident has finally reached the police station. The incident took place in Bengaluru. A 35-year-old man from Govindarajnagar married a 29-year-old woman on May 5 this year. They lived together at Saptagiri Palace in Bengaluru. The man has filed a complaint with the police, saying that after three months of marriage, his wife suspected that he was impotent and asked him to undergo a medical examination.

The doctors said that there was nothing wrong with him in the medical examination and that he was physically capable of sexual activity. The man also says that the doctors informed him that mental stress could be the reason for hesitation.

However, the dispute escalated when the 29-year-old wife started demanding Rs 2 crore in compensation for her husband's failure to fulfill his marital obligations.

The complaint filed by the husband states that his wife's relatives barged into his house in Govindarajnagar on August 17 to assault him and his family. The Govindarajnagar police have registered a case and started an investigation into the incident. The case against the wife and her family is for assault and harassment. The husband had posted a video saying that his wife had links with a political party and was using this to harass him.
