Nursing student collapses and dies in capital city

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A nursing student collapsed and died while having food. The victim is S L Vrinda, daughter of retired KSRTC officer Satheesan of Pullani Mukku at Venganoor in Thiruvananthapuram. Vrinda collapsed while having food at home and she was immediately rushed to the hospital, but her life could not be saved. She was a nursing student of Thiruvananthapuram Medical College.

While having food, she asked her mother to take her to the hospital. She then collapsed soon. A bottle of medicine was recovered from her room. It is believed that the cause of death may have been overdose of the medicine. The Balaramapuram police have registered a case and have started an investigation into the incident.
