THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan responded to the ED summons allegation against his son. He said that his son has not received such a summons. "I am proud of both my children. Like me, they are following a spotless politics. Neither of them has acted in a way that would create a bad name," Pinarayi Vijayan said at a press conference.

"It is unlikely that my son will be seen in the corridors of power like the sons of other chief ministers. I doubt whether my son even knows how many rooms there are in Cliff House," Pinarayi said. "

"That is the speciality of my son. Any father would be proud of his children. My son has never done anything to bring me into disrepute or disgrace. Neither of my two children has done anything like that."

When allegations were made against his daughter, the Chief Minister faced it all with a smile. "When they saw that such allegations were not working, they tried to involve a person who works decently, a person whom many people here do not even know or see in person, in a controversy. If someone tries to create a controversy like that, how will it affect me or my family?" the Chief Minister asked.

"He is a person who works and lives decently. My son lives on the principle of work and home. He does not work in any public sector. That is what needs to be seen. People should not think that I can be put in a difficult position by raising such matters. My son has not received any summons from any agency," he said.

The Chief Minister also asked who had served the summons to whom. "The opposition leader says that the Chief Minister should respond immediately after hearing this. What should be the response to all this?" he asked. A picture is being drawn. An attempt is being made to portray me as tainted. Will I become tainted if someone tries to do so?" the Chief Minister asked.
