Gangster couple quarrels over passport; husband shoots wife to death in front of daughter

GHAZIABAD: In a shocking incident, a man shot his wife dead following a dispute over passport. The incident took place in Ghaziabad in Uttar Pradesh. The horrific incident took place in front of the couple's 11-year-old daughter. The accused, Vikas, is currently on the run, and the police have launched an investigation to find him. The police said both Vikas and his wife Ruby are registered as gangsters.

According to the police, a dispute broke out between Vikas and Ruby on Tuesday morning after Vikas asked for his passport. In the heat of the moment, Vikas shot his wife and fled the spot. The police later found Ruby lying in a pool of blood in the kitchen and rushed her to the hospital. However, her life could not be saved.

The couple shifted to the Ajnara Integrity, a residential area where only the wealthy live, a year ago. The police said that the couple used to quarrel frequently and that Vikas often used to stay away from home for months. Ruby's body has been shifted to the hospital for a post-mortem.
