Murder accused's genitals cut off and eyes gouged out; Three, including pastor arrested from Thrissur old age home
THRISSUR: Three people were arrested for brutally torturing a murder case accused inside an old age home in Thrissur. Police took three people, including a pastor, into custody from Kodungallur, Thrissur. The shelter home manager, Pastor Francis (65), Aromal and Nithin have been arrested.
Alappuzha Aroor native Sudarshan (44), a murder accused, went through inhumane torture inside the old age home in Varapuzha. Sudarshan was earlier arrested by the police after he was found harassing passersby. The Kochi Central police then took him to the old-age home.
It is reported that Sudharshan created a ruckus inside the shelter home, forcing the three people to unleash brute force. On the 21st, Sudarshan was found abandoned on the side of the road in Kodungallur. He was then admitted to the Mulakunnathukavu Medical College Hospital.
The locals found him on the street with eyes gouged out and genitals cut off. He also had serious stab wounds on both sides of his stomach. The medical examination found that his lungs and intestines were severely injured. Sudarshan is an accused in the case of killing a man named Muneer in Cherthala following a land dispute. There is also a case against him at the Ernakulam Central Police Station.
