Students sustain injuries after gallery collapses during Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel's birth anniversary function in Kottayam

KOTTAYAM: Some students sustained injuries after a temporary gallery erected at St Thomas’ College Grounds in Pala collapsed Friday morning at 9 am.

Students of the NCC-NSS sustained injuries. They were taken to the General Hospital in Pala and treated. None of the injuries are serious. The accident happened when the function for Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel's birth anniversary celebrations was all set to kickoff.
