Notorious thief Bunty Chor arrested in Kochi
KOCHI: Notorious thief Bunty Chor was taken into custody by Ernakulam South Railway Police on late Sunday night. According to police, Bunty Chor, who arrived in Kochi by train from Delhi, was taken into custody as part of preventive detention following the suspicious circumstances in which he was caught.
He was taken into custody at around 8 pm on Sunday. Police consider his visit suspicious, taking into account his previous history of theft and cases in Kerala. However, Bunty Chor told police that he came to Kerala to appear in a case in the High Court. However, there is a need for more clarity in his statement, and the police are investigating the matter deeply.
Currently, Bunty Chor is in police custody. Presently, there are no cases against him in Kerala. A bag has been recovered from his possession. It is reported that it contained only clothes and other essentials. No suspicious equipment was found in his possession.
