'Will impregnate you, don't go for pills'; Whatsapp chat between woman and Rahul Mamkootathil MLA surfaces

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The screenshot of a lewd WhatsApp exchange between MLA Rahul Mamkootathil and a woman surfaced on Monday. In the chat, the MLA can be seen coercing the woman to have unprotected intercourse with him, and he even admitted the desire to impregnate her. The screenshots were released by a private television channel.

In the chat, Rahul opens up about his desire to get the woman pregnant and raise a child.

However, in the ensuing audio calls that got leaked, Rahul was heard insisting that the woman undergo an abortion. The woman can be heard confronting Rahul for his sudden change of stance and even explaining to him about her health complications. She even expressed her fear of going to the suggested hospital as the doctor there was a companion of her mother.

"Hey friend, try to speak realistically. I don't like those who show this drama," Rahul responded.

“What is the drama you are talking about. I’m feeling tired, and people are noticing it too. I can’t hold my tears when I look at my mother.” To this response from the woman, Rahul hurled expletives.

In the ensuing argument, Rahul tried to treat lightly the complications and even suggested she take the risk and undergo an abortion. The woman couldn’t talk back anything but continued whimpering.
