'Woman was with her husband at the time she claims sexual misconduct took place': Rahul with more evidence against victim
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Palakkad MLA Rahul Mamkootathil with more evidence against the woman who filed a sexual harassment case against him. The documents were submitted in a sealed cover to the Thiruvananthapuram District Court. A total of nine pieces of evidence have been submitted to the court.
The documents have been submitted to establish that the woman had the abortion of her own free will. Evidence that shows that the head of the channel where the woman worked had instigated her to file a complaint against Rahul, has been provided in a pen drive. It is reported that the documents also include evidence that the woman was living with her husband at the time the sexual misconduct was alleged to have taken place.
It is reported that Rahul, who is absconding, has reached Thiruvananthapuram. Rahul Mamkootathil reached Thiruvananthapuram yesterday. He went to the lawyer's office in Vanchiyoor and signed the power of attorney. The lawyer clarified that Rahul came and signed the power of attorney in person. He arrived in the capital yesterday to file the anticipatory bail petition. Rahul has been absconding since the police registered a case. The police had intensified the investigation to arrest Rahul and issued a lookout notice and a circular. An investigation is underway into where Rahul went after reaching Thiruvananthapuram.
Rahul's anticipatory bail plea will be considered on Wednesday, December 3. The petition is being considered by the Thiruvananthapuram District Sessions Court. A special team led by Thiruvananthapuram City Police Commissioner Thomson Jose has registered a case on the complaint of the woman and is investigating.
