THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Rahul Easwar against the action of remanding him in the cyberbullying complaint. Rahul said that a false case has been filed against him and that he will go on a hunger strike in jail. Rahul Easwar made the allegations while sitting in the vehicle when he was taken to the Thiruvananthapuram General Hospital for a medical examination following the court order remanding him.
Rahul Easwar has been remanded in a case of cyberbullying the woman who had filed a sexual harassment complaint against MLA Rahul Mamkootathil. Rahul Easwar, who was remanded for 14 days, will be transferred to the district jail in Poojappura. The action is in the case of disclosing the complainant's information through social media and making abuses. The remand was made by the Thiruvananthapuram Additional CJM Court.
The court criticised that posting against the victim was not a trivial matter. Rahul's argument is that the arrest is a violation of the Supreme Court's verdict. Rahul Easwar told the court that the arrest was not made legally and that the notice was given only after the arrest. However, the prosecution's argument is that the notice was issued, but Rahul did not accept it.

It is an offence that can lead to imprisonment for up to two years. The cyber police took action based on a complaint filed by the woman, who alleged that personal information was disclosed.
