'Expressed desire to travel together, texted inappropriately'; MA Shahanas raises allegation against Rahul Mamkootathil

KOZHIKODE: KPCC Cultural and Literature General Secretary MA Shahanas became the latest to accuse misbehaviour from Rahul Mamkootathil MLA. Shahanas said she complained the same to Shafi Parambil MP to make him aware of his best pal’s shenanigans.

Shahanas said she received a text from Rahul after she returned from participating in the farmers’ protest in Delhi. She alleged that Rahul sent her coy messages, taking offence over her not informing him of Delhi visit.

“I thought Rahul meant going together to Delhi along with the Youth Congress team. I replied that we will go together with the YC team later. Without any shame, Rahul cleared the air saying that he meant we two going together but not anybody else. I gave him an apt reply at that time.”

Shahanas said many women in Congress have had similar experiences with Rahul. Shahanas had written on Facebook on Wednesday that she had requested Shafi not to make Rahul the state president of the Youth Congress.
