Passengers of IndiGo in Kerala too facing difficulties; no solutions

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The passengers from Kerala are facing a tough time after IndiGo airline services collectively got delayed and cancelled. Passengers are waiting for hours in Thiruvananthapuram and Kannur airports. The flight from Fujairah to Kannur was cancelled today. Kannur-Thiruvananthapuram and Kannur-Abu Dhabi flights are delayed. IndiGo airline services faced crises at Kannur yesterday also. IndiGo operates the largest number of services from Kannur.

IndiGo passengers faced trouble today at the Thiruvananthapuram airport too. Three flights arriving at Thiruvananthapuram and three chartered to depart from Thiruvananthapuram are getting delayed. Four including Thiruvananthapuram-Bengaluru and Thiruvananthapuram-Pune IndiGo flight services were cancelled today. Meantime, passengers say that no notice was given in advance regarding the cancellation of services.

Many IndiGo services from different airports in the state were cancelled yesterday as well. Many services were delayed for hours long. 26 services at Thiruvananthapuram, 40 services at Nedumbassery, 20 services at Kozhikode and 18 services at Kannur got disrupted the previous day. For the last three days, IndiGo airline services have been facing a big crisis nationwide. Around 550 services from Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad and Chennai were cancelled. More than a hundred flights got delayed. Most probably, this situation will continue for a few more days. It is hinted that with the implementation of the crew duty time, there is a shortage of pilots. The new rule permitting more resting time for pilots came into effect on November 1.
