LDF loser caught participating in BJP's victory parade in Palakkad

MANNARKKAD: After conceding defeat in the local body elections, an LDF candidate in the Mannarkkad municipality went straight to join BJP's victory celebration. Anju Sandeep, the candidate from Nambiyampadi in the 24th ward of the municipality, participated in the BJP's victory celebration.

Anju Sandeep participated in the victory rally of BJP candidate Sneha Ramakrishnan, who won in Ward six of Karakurussi Panchayat. A video of Anju dancing during the rally was also released. In the 30-ward municipality, the CPM contested on the party symbol in only eight places. One of them is Nambiyampadi. UDF's Sheeja Ramesh won in Nambiyampadi in the municipality.

However, Anju explained that BJP candidate Sneha was one of her close friends, and said it was for the same reason she attended the celebrations. Anju said she would remain loyal to CPM and denied allegations of switching to BJP.
