'Very well aware of management's intentions'; Sanju Samson responds after brilliant performance

AHMEDABAD: Sanju Samson, who was selected in the final match of the T20 series against South Africa, gave a sparkling performance. The partnership of Abhishek and Sanju, who entered the pitch as openers, paved the way for the score to cross 200. Abhishek (34) and Sanju (37) gave India a good start by scoring 63 runs in 34 balls. Sanju, who got his first chance in the series, captivated the audience with batting fireworks.

Abhishek, who hit six fours and a six in 21 balls, was caught by keeper de Kock off Bosch's bowling in the sixth over. Sanju then hit a partnership with Tilak Verma. Sanju, who hit four fours and two sixes in 22 balls, was bowled by Linde in the first ball of the 10th over.
