‘Having a good opposition will be beneficial; Thiruvananthapuram will be changed into one of the best cities, says Mayor-designate V V Rajesh

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Having a good opposition in the corporation will be beneficial for the BJP's rule, said Mayor-designate V V Rajesh. He told the media Friday morning that he will rule by keeping everyone together. Rajesh added that although he is speaking as the face of the party, everyone is going to rule together. He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will come to Thiruvananthapuram and address the people.

‘The BJP was initially unable to perform in Kerala. Those who suffered twice as much as we suffered are still in jail in false cases. Their families have also suffered. By 2047, the BJP will achieve the goal of a developed India. We will take the rule forward by keeping everyone together in Thiruvananthapuram.

The party asked me to contest for mayoral post. I was not present in any of the discussions held in this regard. The party is observing those doing the party's work properly. Although I am speaking as a mouthpiece, I am not alone. Everyone is going to work together. There is a strong opposition. We are going to provide a healthy administration. Having a good opposition will be beneficial. We will take everyone together. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will come to the capital city in 45 days. I am assuring that. In five years, we will make Thiruvananthapuram one of the three best cities in India. That is the goal,' said Rajesh.
