'Sreelekha's entry has been grand, where did she get this pride from?' Kadakampally Surendran harshly criticizes
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kadakampally Surendran stepped forward harshly criticizing councilor R Sreelekha. He said that she is above the BJP and the people in Sasthamangalam have made a mistake. He was reacting to the demand of Sreelekha demanding V K Prasantha MLA to vacate his rented office functioning in the corporation building.
'Her entry as a councilor has been grand. The people in Sasthamangalam have now understood that they have made a mistake. I believe that she will correct her mistake. Where did she get this pride from? The mayor and the BJP state president should answer this. It is enough to see this as a continuation of the anti-people attitude, she has maintained throughout her official lives. She even forgot that she a representative of the people. For the past seven years, the MLA of that constituency has been in the office on rent legally. Where did Sreelekha get the arrogance to say that he should vacate that office,’ said Kadakampally.
Meantime, MLA V K Prashanth responded that there are political motives behind Sreelekha's new demand. Sreelekha had asked Prasanth to vacate his office so that she could run her office conveniently. However, Prasanth replied that he had already written to the corporation ten months ago to continue the office until the end of the legislative term.
