Pedestrian's death in Kottayam road accident: More charges filed against actor Sidharth Prabhu

KOTTAYAM: The police added a section of culpable homicide against actor Sidharth Prabhu for his involvement in Kottayam road accident that killed a pedestrian. Thangaraj, a native of Tamil Nadu, died while undergoing treatment in Kottayam. The charge sheet with the new sections will be submitted to the court in the evening. The accident took place on Wednesday night on the MC Road in Kottayam.

The car, coming from Kottayam, lost control and rammed into Thangaraj, the pedestrian. The footage of actor Sidharth engaging in a dispute with locals was widely circulated on social media. Police examination also revealed that Sidharth was intoxicated at the time of the accident.

Thangaraj, who died in the accident, was a lottery seller. Thangaraj, who had been undergoing treatment at Kottayam Medical College for the past week, succumbed to the injuries last night. With this, the charge of culpable homicide was added to the sections against Sidharth.
